Sceau

Alle differentiators

Conflict checks, client money and data protection, operated like real controls

Sceau now carries the adjacent professional obligations that often sit next to AML: conflict checking, client-money control and GDPR registers. They use the same live data, decisions queue, evidence ledger, assurance checks and inspection-pack logic.

For many professional offices, AML is only one part of the compliance burden. Lawyers need conflict and privilege-sensitive controls. Notaries, lawyers, estate agents and accountants may need disciplined client-money records. Every office is a data controller. Sceau brings those obligations into the same operating model instead of leaving them in spreadsheets.

In de workflow

  • Conflict checks run against the office’s own organization-scoped relationship graph, using shared UBOs, addresses, accounts, counterparties and prior client links.
  • Client-money control tracks trust accounts, matter-linked ledger entries, imported statement balances, deterministic reconciliations and shortfall triggers.
  • Data-protection registers cover Article 30 processing records, DPIAs, data-subject requests, breach events, retention reviews and deadline monitoring.

Waarom dit geloofwaardig is

  • Every material action is org-scoped and written to the evidence ledger
  • High-impact dispositions and reconciliation issues raise decision triggers
  • Inspection packs include conflict checks, trust accounts, reconciliations, DPIAs, DSRs, breaches and processing records

Conflict checks that explain the path

When a new mandate or party is checked, Sceau looks for concrete connections inside the office’s own data: shared beneficial owners, addresses, bank accounts, counterparties and existing client files. A clean result is retained; a possible conflict becomes a reviewable record with a disposition such as cleared, ethical wall, blocked or accepted with note.

Client-money reconciliation beside the file

Matter-linked trust entries can be recorded from the client file, while account-level reconciliation stays in the Obligations workspace. The platform computes the book balance from held entries, compares it to the imported bank statement balance and raises a decision trigger when a shortfall or overdue reconciliation appears.

GDPR as an operating register

Processing records, DPIAs, data-subject requests and breach events are not merely static policy artefacts. Sceau computes review dates, one-month DSR deadlines and 72-hour breach clocks, then feeds failures into assurance and inspection evidence.

Wat dit operationeel verandert

  • The office can manage adjacent professional obligations without separate binders
  • Assurance answers include AML, client money and data-protection posture together
  • Inspection preparation shows the controls that were actually operated, not just policies that say they exist
Gebouwd voor de dag waarop men niet alleen vraagt wat het kantoor besliste, maar ook wat het op dat moment wist en hoe die beslissing later nog verifieerbaar blijft.
